Growth of 48% in the Net Profit of Mega Bank; EPS fall by 13%

Mega Bank has posted its fourth quarter reports as per the Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS). Compared to the report of previous year, we can see a growth of 124.46% in the paid up capital of the bank and 68.78% growth in the reserve and surplus.

The bank has an increase of 48% in the net profit which is a remarkable growth compare to its competitors. It has grown from Rs.79.83 Crore to Rs. 118.15 Crore at the end of the fourth quarter.

A decrease of almost 40% can be seen in the Non-Performing Loans of the bank while the amount of lending has increased by more than 62%.

The bank has also reported a fall in the EPS by 13.02% and in the Net Worth per Share by 5.85%.
