Govt of State 5 asked to present policies, programmes for FY, 2077/78 on May 23

The government of State 5 was at work to present policies and programmes for the next fiscal year, 2077/78 at National Assembly.

A Cabinet meeting on Thursday requested state chief to present policies and programmes for the FY, 2077/78 at State Assembly on May 23. The meeting also decided to light candles on the day of Republic Day on May 28, said Sher Bahadur KC, press advisor of Chief Minister of the state.

It was also decided upon to set up 200-bed isolation wards in Tarai districts, and 50-bed wards in hilly districts. Likewise, funds would be released from COVID-19 fund to set up isolation wards where people tested positive for COVID-19 in polymerase chain reaction would be kept.

The meeting also decided to provide insurance amount Rs 1 million to the family of Nepali Congress leader Baldev Sharma who recently died.
