Government to Confer National Honor on Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang

The government has made the decision to bestow a national honor upon the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, Subas Nembang. Additionally, a public holiday will be observed on the day of his funeral.

This announcement was made following a Council of Ministers meeting convened earlier today.

Subas Nembang, who also held the position of Vice President in CPN-UML, passed away earlier this morning.

Sudan Kirati, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, conveyed that during the Cabinet meeting held this morning, it was unanimously decided to confer a national honor upon Nemwang.

As Nembang's sons are currently residing abroad, the funeral will be scheduled once they return. Minister Kiranti mentioned that the exact date of the funeral cannot be confirmed at this time. However, he informed the public that the day of the funeral will be observed as a public holiday.
