Government revenue till first 2 months at 12% of target; Total expenditure at 4% of target

The Government of Nepal has collected total revenue of Rs 1.41 kharba till Ashwin 01, 2076. This amount is 12.73% of the targeted revenue collection of Rs 11.12 kharba.

Similarly, on the expenditure side, the speed seems to be lagging a bit. The GoN has spent a total of Rs 64.55 arba till Ashwin 01, 2076 out of which Rs 58.77 arba has been spent on Recurrent expenditure and Rs 5.17 arba on Capital Expenditure. The total expenditure is 4.21% of the targeted value of Rs 15.32 kharba.
