Government ready to promote trade and industry-Minister Pandey

The second Western Regional industrial trade fair and second Nawalparasi Festival held at Sunawal of Nawalparasi district concluded on Tuesday. Wrapping up the festival, Industry Minister Som Prasad Pandey said that the government was ready to promote all small and big scale trade and industry. As the country's development is not possible without economic advancement, the proliferation of trade and industry is a must to that end, Minister Pandey added. The festival drew a total financial transaction of around Rs 65 million, according to the host, Nawalparasi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As many as 200,000 visitors including from neighbouring India observed the festival, shared Chamber Chairperson Bhim Bahadur Thapa. Some 300 stalls exhibiting different trade and industry products were installed in the 12-day fair. RSS
