Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBB) has posted a net profit rise of 28.11% in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year 2073/74.
As per the unaudited quarterly report published by the commercial bank, its net profit has increased to Rs 2.07 arba till the end of third quarter this year, up from Rs 1.61 arba posted in the corresponding quarter last year.
RBB has been able to earn Rs 4.67 arba in net interest income up to this quarter, up from Rs 3.73 arba last year. Its deposit base has increased to 1.35 kharba, up from Rs 1.30 kharba in the third quarter last year, but down from Rs 1.38 kharba posted in the second quarter this year. However, its loans have increased in comparison to both the second quarter this year and third quarter last year to Rs 1.01 kharba. Its CCD ratio now stands at 74.88% and NPL at 2.70%.
Another major progress RBB has shown is in decrease in its cost of fund, which is now at only 1.28%.
As of the end of Q3 this year, its paid up capital stands at Rs 8.58 arba with a reserve of Rs 2.09 arba. Its EPS is at Rs 32.24 with net worth per share of Rs 124.37. Rastriya Banijya Bank is under process of acquiring NIDC Development Bank Limited.
