Government of Nepal Adds 4 More Holidays for Upcoming Year 2078 B.S.; (Complete List Inside)

The Home Ministry has unveiled a document with a list of all the holidays for the upcoming year 2078 B.S. As the year 2077 comes to an end, the government has unveiled the list for the upcoming fiscal year. 

Like in previous years, the government has refrained from declaring national holidays on festivals belonging to minority groups, during Christmas Day and Id, for instance. Holidays are declared only for specific religious groups, geographical zones, or ethnic zones. 

Nonetheless, the government has decided to add four more public holidays in 2078 BS. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to give public holidays on Janaipurnima, Dashain Ghatasthapana, Maghe Sakranti, and on Kija Puja on the proposal of the Home Ministry.
