Government actual expenditure and targeted expenditure deviates by Rs 4.92 kharab! Rs 6.17 kharba worth revenue collected

The latest status of revenue and expenditure of Government of Nepal (GoN)'s shows that we are behind the targeted amount in terms of both revenue and expenditure.

As of Jestha 30, 2076 the GoN has collected revenue worth of Rs 6.17 kharba while the targeted revenue collection amount was Rs 8.31 kharba. This shows a deviation of around Rs 2.14 kharba.

The situation is more dire when we look at the expenditures figure. The GoN had targeted a total expenditure of Rs 13.15 kharba, while the actual value stands at Rs 8.23 kharba only, deviating by Rs 4.92 kharba. This is a huge amount and the failure to achieve the targeted expenditure constricts the economic growth of the country.
