Goodwill finance proposes 25% bonus share; paid up capital to reach Rs 45.37 crore

Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) has decided to distribute 25 percent bonus share and 1.32 percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders. As per the notice published on Nepse today, the BOD meeting held on Bhadra 15, 2073 has proposed 25 percent bonus share to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The decision is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the finance company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Last year, GFCL had issued 4:1 right share to its shareholders. GFCL Finance earned net profit of Rs 13.14 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 36.30 crore and after the issuance of 25% bonus share the paid up capital will rise to Rs 45.37crore.
