Gold Surges By Rs. 9500 per tola in Single Day; Silver Follows Suit With 300 Rupee Gain

Gold prices in Nepal have climbed, continuing a strong upward trend in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 9500 per tola on Sunday to reach an high of Rs. 300,500 per tola.

The surge reached its peak on January 29, 2026, with fine gold reaching an all-time high of Rs. 339,300 per tola.

Tejabi gold also recorded a sharp rise, increasing by Rs. 9500 per tola to Rs. 299,800 from the earlier Rs.290,300 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also edged up by Rs. 300 per tola, now priced at Rs. 5,010 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,980 per tola the previous day.
