Gold Prices Takes Dip: Gold Drops by Rs. 300 Per Tola; Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 10 Fall

The price of fine gold has undergone a decrease of Rs. 300 per tola.

According to the latest update provided by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current trading price for pure gold stands at Rs. 1,26,400 per tola, indicating a decline of Rs. 300 from the previous closing rate of Rs. 1,26,700 per tola recorded on yesterday.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is presently valued at Rs. 1,25,800 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 300 decrease compared to yesterday's closing price of Rs. 1,26,100 per tola.

On March 21, 2024, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,27,800 per tola, marking a historic milestone.

Furthermore, the price of silver has witnessed a decline of Rs. 10 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,505 per tola, in contrast to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,515 per tola.

While the domestic market sees a downward trend in prices, the international market also reflects significant declines. As per the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,172.70 per ounce globally. Conversely, silver is demonstrating negative momentum on the international front, with prices reaching $24.59 per ounce.
