Gold Prices Takes Dip: Drops by Rs. 2,700 Per Tola; Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 45 Fall

The price of fine gold has declined by Rs. 2,700 per tola.

According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), pure gold is now trading at Rs. 1,35,500 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 2,700 compared to the previous closing rate of Rs. 1,38,200 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is currently valued at Rs. 1,34,850 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 2,700 decrease from its previous day's closing price of Rs. 1,37,550 per tola.

The surge reached its peak on April 19th, 2024, with fine gold reaching an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,300 per tola.

Furthermore, the price of silver has experienced a Rs. 45 decrease per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,660 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,705 per tola.

Both domestic and international markets have observed a downturn in prices. The latest update reveals the global gold rate at $2,306.60 per ounce, while silver exhibits negative momentum internationally, with prices reaching $27.01 per ounce.
