Gold Prices Take a Dip: Fine Gold Drops by Rs. 1,300 Per Tola; Silver Follows suit with 35 Rupee Fall

The price of gold had lost Rs. 1,300 per tola today.
According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the current price of fine gold stands at Rs. 1,17,500 per tola. On Friday, it was holding steady at Rs. 1,18,800 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded today at Rs. 1,16,950 experiencing a decrease of Rs. 1,300 per tola. On Friday, it maintained the price of Rs. 1,18,250 per tola.
On December 4, 2023, fine gold had reached a historic high of Rs. 1,21,600 per tola, and Tejabi gold had surged to Rs. 1,21,000, setting a record at that time.
Additionally, silver has experienced a decrease of Rs. 35 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,425 per tola, compared to Friday's closing rate of Rs. 1,460 per tola.
The global slump in gold prices, now at $2,004.50 per ounce, has significantly affected the domestic bullion market. At the same time, silver is being traded at $22.97 per ounce on the international market.
