Gold Prices Soar to Historic Highs in Nepal

Gold prices in Nepal continued their upward trajectory, reaching a new all-time high in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs. 400, climbing to an unprecedented Rs. 199,400 per tola.

This increase marks a significant jump from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 199,000 per tola and surpasses the previous record of Rs. 199,400 per tola set on August 8, 2025.

Tejabi gold, one of the most popular variants among buyers, also saw a notable rise, reaching Rs. 198,700 per tola from Rs. 198,300 per tola the day before.

The surge was not limited to gold alone. Silver prices also experienced an increase, climbing by Rs. 10 per tola to reach Rs. 2,355 per tola, up from Rs. 2,345 per tola.
