Gold Prices Soar: Rs. 1000 Rise in a Single Day

The price of the precious yellow metal has increased by Rs. 1,000 per tola (fine gold) today compared to the Sunday's trading price.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) today, fine gold is maintaining a value of Rs.1,08,600 per tola today, while Tejabi gold is priced at Rs. 1,08,100.

Comparatively, Sunday, fine gold was priced at Rs. 1 lakh 7 thousand Six Hundred per tola, and Tejabi gold stood at 1 lakh 7 thousand One Hundred rupees per tola.

In a similar trend, the price of silver has also witnessed a increase today. With a 15 rupee gain, the current price of silver is set at 1,345 rupees per tola. Comparatively, Sunday saw a silver price of Rs 1,330 per tola.

The current rate of gold in the international market is USD $1,849.60 while silver is being traded at $21.75 per ounce.
