Gold Prices Reach Record High After Gaining Rs.700 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 1,06,900 Per Tola

Gold prices make headlines once again as the value of gold hit an all-time high on January 26, 2023, i.e. today in the local market. As of today, fine gold was traded at Rs.1,06,900/ tola while tejabi gold was traded at Rs.1,06,400/ tola, as per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer Association.

The price of gold increased by Rs.1000/tola on January 24. On the same day, fine gold was traded at Rs.1,06,300/tola. The price of gold which was also fluctuating for the past week increased by Rs.700/tola today.

On the other hand, the value of silver increased by Rs.15/ tola and stood at Rs.1380/ tola.

Due to the increase of gold prices in the international markets, the ripple effects of the same have impacted the Nepalese market as well. As of Thursday, gold was traded at 1,946.70/ ounce on the international markets.
