Gold Prices in Nepal Soar to Record High, Breaking Previous All-Time Peak

Gold prices in Nepal continued their remarkable upward trajectory, setting a new record in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 1,700, reaching an unprecedented Rs. 2,05,300 per tola.

This surge marks a significant jump from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 2,03,600 per tola, surpassing the previous record set on August 31, 2025. 

Tejabi gold also saw a notable increase, climbing to Rs. 2,04,600 per tola from Rs. 2,02,900 per tola the previous day. 

The rise in precious metals was not limited to gold. Silver prices followed a similar trend, rising by Rs. 45 per tola to reach Rs. 2,470 per tola, up from Rs. 2,425 per tola.
