Gold Price Soars by Rs 10,400 per Tola in a Single Day, Hits All-Time High
Gold and silver prices in Nepal have surged to new record highs, extending the strong upward momentum in the domestic bullion market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose sharply by Rs 10,400 per tola on Monday to reach a new all-time high of Rs 295,100 per tola.
The rally in gold prices has remained strong, with fine gold touching its previous peak of Rs 284,700 per tola on January 20, 2026.
Tejabi gold also recorded a significant increase, climbing by Rs 10,400 per tola to Rs 294,400 from the earlier rate of Rs 284,000 per tola.
Silver followed the bullish trend, gaining Rs 40 per tola to settle at a fresh record of Rs 5,920 per tola, up from its previous price of Rs 5,880 per tola.
