Gold Breaks Previous All-Time High Record; Gains Rs 500 Per Tola to Trade at Rs 136,800

Consistently, Nepal's gold market has seen an unprecedented surge, hitting a new all-time high on April 10, 2024.

As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association, there has been a Rs. 500 increase, pushing the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,36,800 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,36,300.

Similarly, Tejabi gold, another highly sought-after variant, has also experienced a rise, now valued at Rs. 1,36,150 per tola, marking a consecutive increase of Rs. 500 from its previous rate of Rs. 1,35,650.

Just the day before, on April 9th, 2024, fine gold had surged to an all-time high of Rs. 1,36,300 per tola.

In line with this trajectory, the price of silver has also surged and set new records today. Presently priced at Rs. 1,700 per tola, silver witnessed an Rs. 15 increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,685 per tola.

While the domestic market is witnessing an upward trend in prices, the international market also exerts influence. According to the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,356.40 per ounce. Internationally, silver remains constant, with prices reaching $28.09 per ounce.
