Gold Breaks All-Time High Record; Gains Rs 300 Per Tola to Trade at Rs 117,700

The price of gold is setting new records daily.
Gold prices make headlines once again as the value of gold hit an all-time high on November 28, 2023, i.e. today. Today's gain results from a Rs. 300 single-day gain from yesterday's price.
According to official data from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now trading at an unprecedented rate of Rs. 1,17,700 per tola. Just Yesterday, the price of this precious metal was Rs. 1,17,400 per tola which was the highest of all time. Tejabi gold has also experienced a significant increase and is currently being traded at Rs. 1,17,150, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,16,850 per tola.
Recently, the price of gold made an all-time high in the Nepalese market on 27th November 2023. Fine gold traded at Rs. 117,400 per tola while tejabi gold was traded at Rs. 116,850 per tola that day.
In contrast, the price of silver remains steady at Rs. 1,500 per tola.
Due to the increase of gold prices in the international markets, the ripple effects of the same have impacted the domestic bullion market as well. Currently, the worldwide price for gold is at USD $2,015.30 per ounce, while silver is being exchanged at $24.60 per ounce.
