Gold Approaches Rs. 1 Lakh Golden Bar as Price Gains Rs. 2,500 in Single Day

The price of gold has gained Rs. 2,500 per tola today.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 99,000 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 96,500 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 98,500 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 96,000 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has also gained Rs. 35 per tola today. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,355 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,320 per tola.

The price of oil and precious metals has surged in the international market as well because of escalating tensions between Russia, Ukraine, and the West.
