Gold and Silver Prices See Slight Increase in Domestic Market
The fluctuation of gold and silver prices in the international market continues to influence Nepal’s domestic market. Today, both precious metals recorded a modest rise compared to Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FNGSDA), the price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola (11.66 grams), while silver rose by Rs 35 per tola. As a result, the current price of gold stands at Rs 243,000 per tola, and silver at Rs 3,185 per tola.
The Federation noted that the international price of gold today is USD 4,075 per ounce, reflecting global market trends that continue to affect domestic rates.
Market analysts suggest that such fluctuations are largely influenced by international demand, currency exchange rates, and ongoing geopolitical developments. Buyers and investors are advised to monitor the market closely for further movements.
