Glocal and Times Higher Education Partner to Strengthen Nepal’s Higher Education Sector

Glocal Pvt. Ltd. and Times Higher Education have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening Nepal’s higher education sector and improving its international standing. The agreement was signed during the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026 held in Jakarta.

Under the partnership, both organizations will collaborate to enhance the quality of higher education in Nepal through internationalization, policy consultation, institutional development, impact assessment, and data-driven decision-making. The agreement will also support Nepal’s “Study in Nepal” campaign by promoting the country as an emerging global education destination.

Representatives from both institutions highlighted Nepal’s strong potential in higher education and expressed commitment to working together in areas such as research, innovation, skill development, employability, and international collaboration to make Nepal’s education system more competitive and globally recognized.
