Global IME's branchless banking service in Letang

KATHMANDU, Sept 5:

Global IME Bank on Friday started its 27th branchless banking service at Letang VDC of Morang. Janak Sharma Poudyal, deputy CEO of the bank, and Devendra Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of Letang Trade Association, jointly inaugurated the service amid a function. On the occasion, Poudyal handed over the certificate of agent to Padam Bahadur Rana -- local businessman. Issuing a statement, the bank said it has been starting branchless banking service in places, where it is not possible to open branch office, with an aim to provide banking services to peoples of all areas.
