Global IME Samunnat Scheme's shows slight decrease in monthly NAV reaching Rs 8.50; Rs 6 crore in fixed deposits and Rs 21.33 crore of net loss

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported slight decrease in its Net Asset Value (NAV).

As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV has decreased to Rs. 8.50 in Magh end from Rs 8.77 in Poush end.

The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs. 71.84 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 2.83 crore in non-listed shares as on Magh end. Similarly, it has Rs 6 crore in fixed deposits.

The fund has reported net loss of Rs 21.33 crore in the month of Magh which is higher than the net loss of Rs 18.61 crore in the month of Poush.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Samunnat Fund has its highest investment in 64,645 unit shares of National Life Insurance Company (NLICL) worth Rs 4.16 crore.
