Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 NAV decreases to Rs 8.72 in Ashadh end; Net loss increases to Rs 7.54 crore

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported decrease in its Net Asset Value (NAV).

As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreases to Rs. 8.72 in Ashadh end from Rs 8.80 in Jestha end. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs. 73.39 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 5.58 crore in non-listed shares as on Ashadh end. Similarly, it has Rs 5 crore in fixed deposits and Rs 2.18 crore as bank balance.

The fund has reported net loss of Rs 7.54 crore in the month of Ashadh which is more than the net loss of Rs 6.45 crore in the month of Jestha.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Samunnat Fund has its highest investment in NMB Bank Limited (NMB) worth Rs 6.46 crore.
