Global IME Bank sponsers Nepali cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee; Airee to receive Rs 20K per month including complete set of cricket kit
Global IME Bank Ltd. has sponsored Nepali U-19 team captain and a key player of Nepali National Cricket Team Dipendra Singh Airee for the period of one year to mark its 11th Anniversary.
As per the agreement Dipendra Singh Airee will receive NPR Four Hundred Thousand(NPR 20,000 per month as stipend as well as a complete set of cricket kit from the remaining amount for the same period of time.
During the program held at the banking premises of corporate office, Global IME Bank Ltd. in Kathmandu on Thursday, CEO of the Bank Janak Sharma Poudyal and cricketer Airee signed the agreement paper.
“We took the initiation so that it will prove to be a motivational factor to push the players to do even better for the promotion of the cricket in Nepal on the whole,” said CEO Poudyal. Furthermore, the CEO of the Bank also congratulated the Nepali Cricket Team for excelling in the ICC World Cricket Division League Two and wished good luck for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
Airee took the sponsorship as a motivation and said that this will also be a prime factor to push for achieving greater achievements in the days to come.
The captain of Nepali cricket Team, Parash Khadka thanked for the gratitude shown by the Bank to the players and the team on the whole. He added that the ample love and support shown by the corporate houses was very much praiseworthy.
