Global IME Bank Launches Cashback Scheme for Remittance Transactions

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has introduced a new scheme to encourage remittance transactions in the banking system, offering cashback rewards of up to 500 rupees when using Global Remit. Dubbed "Money will come, you will get more," the scheme grants cashback of varying amounts based on the remittance amount sent.

Remitters can receive 100 rupees for amounts between 25,000 to 50,000 rupees, 250 rupees for amounts between 50,001 to 100,000 rupees, and 500 rupees for amounts exceeding 100,000 rupees.

The scheme runs until June 10, 2024. Global IME Bank, the first private sector commercial bank with a branch network provides this offer to customers sending money through Global Remit to any account in the bank.

With over 1,100 service points, including branches, ATMs, branchless banking services, extension counters, revenue collection counters, and foreign representative offices, the bank serves more than 4.6 million customers. It plays a significant role in the country's economy by facilitating remittances from various countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and others.
