Global IME Bank convenes its 16th AGM; endorses proposal of 13.6% dividend to shareholders and merger agreement with Bank of Kathmandu

Global IME Bank has convened its 16th AGM for the FY 2078-79 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal on Mangsir 23, 2079.
Apart from the regular financial reports, The AGM has endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 3% bonus shares and 10.6% cash dividends to its shareholders from the profit it had made in the previous fiscal year.
The AGM also endorsed the merger of Bank of Kathmandu with Global IME Bank in a share swap ratio of 1;1, as per the media statement.
Global IME Bank had earned an operating profit of Rs 7.18 Arba and a net profit of Rs 4.95 Arba during the previous fiscal year, as per the media statement.
The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 292 branches in 77 districts, 270 ATM outlets, 275 branchless banking units, 51 extension and revenue counters and 3 foreign relations offices across the nation.
