Gem & Jewelry Expo 2016 to kick off from May 20-22 at Hotel Yak & Yeti

Gem & Jewelry Expo 2016 event is being organized from May 20 till May 22, 2016 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbarmarg, Kathmandu. The three day event will be jointly organized by Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal, Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealer’s Association and Federation of Nepal Gold Silver, Gem & Jewellery Associations. Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu yesterday, the organizers said the the expo aims to promote handicrafts and jewelries of Nepal at national and international level. The event, according to the organizers, will have 59 stalls, including 53 national and 6 international stalls. The main attractions of the expo are Gem Cutting Demonstration, educational exhibition of Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Jewelry Fashion Show and traditional and modern Nepali jewelry Show. Gem and Jewelry Export promotion Council, India and Gemological Institute of America (GIA) of  India and The New Jewelers Magazine will have their stalls in the expo.
