Garima Bikas Bank and TAAN Gandaki Forge Partnership for Concessional Loans

Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) and the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN) Gandaki have reached an agreement to offer concessional services in various types of bank loans to member organizations.

The contract was signed by Bhola Prasad Tiwari, regional manager of the Pokhara regional office representing the bank, and Dharmaraj Panthi, president representing TAAN Gandaki.

Under the agreement, Garima Bikas Bank Limited will provide Garima Simple SME periodical and overdraft loans up to a maximum of Rs. 50 lakhs with subsidized interest rates and bank guarantees of up to Rs. 5 lakhs, requiring a cash margin of 10%.

The bank aims to facilitate the business activities of its members, who can access these services at any branch office of the development bank. TAAN has committed to promoting Garima Bikas Bank as a banking partner following this agreement, building on a similar arrangement with TAAN's central organization in Kathmandu.

Garima Bikas Bank Limited, headquartered in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, operates through 123 branch offices, 1 extension counter, and 51 ATMs nationwide, including 22 in the Kathmandu Valley.
