Gandaki Province to Unveil Policies and Programmes for FY 2026/27 Today

The Gandaki Province Government is set to unveil its policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 later today.

Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatta will present the government's policies and programmes in the Province Assembly at 4:00 pm, according to Govind Paudel, Secretary at the Province Assembly Secretariat.

As per constitutional provisions, provincial governments must present their annual budgets on Asar 1, with the policies and programmes being announced beforehand. The budget session of the Province Assembly commenced a week ago, during which discussions were also held on the principles and priorities of the appropriation bill.
