First Provincial Capital Market Expo takes off at Biratnagar; Chief Minister of Province 1 invited as chief guest

The first provincial Capital Market Expo, organized by Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) on the occasion of world investors week 2018 took off today at Biratnagar. The said expo is a two day event where interested investors can get all information regarding the tools and services in the securities market under one roof. The expo also features an open question answer round where investors can get expert views on their queries.

Honorable Chief Minister of Province 1, Mr. Sher Dhan Rai had been invited as the chief guest for the event. Mr. Rai expressed his gratitude for inviting him as the chief guest and thanked SEBON for organizing such an event in the interest of investors. He further added, “The growth of securities market is the base for the growth of economic development of the country. With the help of peoples’ investments, big and successful Hydropower companies and Manufacturing companies can be established which will be capable of providing adequate returns to all the investors. Such is the potential of Nepal’s securities market.” He also mentioned that the government formed under the leadership of NCP are working towards the development and strengthening of the securities market. He concluded by commending this initiative and wished for success of the Capital Market Expo.
