Fire Incident Disrupts 5 MW Power Production at Jhapa Energy Limited

Jhapa Energy Limited has informed that a fire broke out in one of the inverters installed at its 10 MW grid-connected solar power project located in Shivasatakshi-4, Jhapa.
According to the company, the incident occurred at approximately 1:42 PM on Jestha 18, 2083 B.S. The fire affected one of the two 5 MVA-capacity inverters connected to the project, resulting in the disruption of 5 MW electricity generation.
The company stated that the remaining details regarding the incident and restoration process will be addressed accordingly.
