Fine Gold Price Spikes by Rs. 400 per Tola; Silver Witnesses Rs. 15 Decrease

The value of the precious yellow metal has increased by Rs. 400 per tola today compared to yesterday's trading value.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current rate for fine gold stands at Rs. 126,800 per tola, representing a surge of Rs. 400 from yesterday's trading rate of Rs. 1,26,400 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is priced today at Rs. 126,200 per tola, indicating an increase of Rs. 400 from yesterday's price of Rs. 1,25,800 per tola.

On March 21, 2024, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,27,800 per tola, marking a historic milestone.

Conversely, the price of silver has seen a decline of Rs. 15 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,490 per tola, in contrast to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,505 per tola.

While the domestic market sees an upward trend in prices, the international market exerts significant influence. According to the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,175.50 per ounce. Conversely, silver is experiencing negative momentum on the international front, with prices reaching $24.37 per ounce.
