Fall in NAV and Net Profit of Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) and Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) in Baisakh

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Baisakh, 2078. The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, a mutual fund has reported a decrease in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs 14.61 from Rs 14.8. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs 82 crore has invested Rs 82.29 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 6.49 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs 12.3 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs 24.34 crore in the bank balance.

It has reported a net profit of Rs 36.32 crores till Baisakh. The fund had reported a net profit of Rs. 37.84 crores in the previous month.

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The recently launched scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Baisakh, 2077. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, the mutual fund has reported a decline in its Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs 15.42 till Baisakh's end from Rs 15.71 last month. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1 Arba has invested Rs 60 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 24.39 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs 8.4 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs 17.28 crore in the bank balance.

It has reported a net profit of Rs 29.58 crore till Baisakh's end. It had reported a net profit of Rs 31.19 crore in the previous month.
