Extraordinary Upsurge Propels Nepalese Gold Price to Unprecedented Peaks

Consecutively, the Nepalese gold market has undergone an extraordinary surge, surpassing the previous day's record and attaining an all-time peak on March 7, 2024.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported an impressive single-day increase of Rs. 1,500, driving fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,25,000 per tola.

Just 24 hours earlier, on March 6, 2024, fine gold had achieved an unprecedented pinnacle, reaching Rs. 1,23,500 per tola and establishing a historic milestone.

Tejabi gold, another highly coveted variety, also witnessed a noteworthy ascent, presently valued at Rs. 124,400 per tola, a rise from its previous rate of Rs. 1,22,900.

In parallel, the price of silver has also witnessed an upturn today. With an increase of 30 rupees, the current silver price is at 1,470 rupees per tola. In contrast, Wednesday recorded a silver price of Rs. 1,440 per tola.

While the domestic market experiences an upward trend in prices, the international market holds considerable sway. As per the latest update, the current gold rate is at $2,157.70 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also exhibiting positive momentum, with prices reaching $24.14 per ounce.
