Ex-employee of Nepal Rastra Bank appointed as Chairman of Nepal Bank Limited; Mr Basudev Adhikari to take his oath of secrecy today

Ministry of Finance has sent a cadre of Nepal Rastra Bank, Mr. Basudev Adhikari as the director of Nepal Bank Limited. He has recently retired from the Rastra Bank.

He was appointed as the director of the commercial bank on Wednesday. He will be taking his oath of secrecy from Governor Dr. Chiranjeevi Nepal today.

Mr. Adhikari had worked as the director of the Bank and Financial Institutions Regulatory Department when Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada was the Governor of the Rastra Bank. Working for 30 years in the central bank, he has worked in the Foreign Exchange Department and Internal Auditing and Finance company supervision as well.
