Everest Bank successfully conducted 23rd AGM; endorsed 33% bonus shares

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has successfully conducted 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM). As per the press released published by the bank, following are the major highlights of the AGM:
- The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bank approved the audited Balance Sheet& NFRS Balance Sheet for the year ended Asadh 2074.
- The AGM approved issuance of 33% Bonus Share along with 1.74% cash dividend towards tax on bonus share which now raised the Paid Up Capital of the Bank to more than Eight Hundred Crore.
- The Bank also launched 5 new branches at Pipra (Mahottari), Biruwa (Syangja), Dupcheshwar (Nuwakot), Bansgadi (Bardiya) & Shikhar (Doti) and 5 new extension counters at Biratchowk (Morang), Fikkal (Ilam), Garuda (Rautahat), Lamki (Kailali) & Jhalari (Mahendranagar).

- As a part of its effort to continuously upgrade skills of its workforce, the Bank also inaugurated EBL Training Academy at its Head Office Building at Lazimpat along with new e-learning mobile App “SARASWATI”.
- The Bank also released first Annual Book named “PRATIBIMB” to mark 23rd anniversary of the Bank.
- Presently, the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 69 branches, 7 Extension Counters, 28 Revenue Collection Counters, 95 ATMs and many correspondents across the globe.The Bank is shortly opening 11 new branches.
