Everest Bank earns Rs 75.37 crore in Q2 ; NPL declined to 0.67 %

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has posted net profit of Rs 75.37 crore for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.The figure stood at Rs.77.12 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2071/72.
In the unaudited financial report for the second quarter published today, the bank has stated that its net profit declined by 2.26 percent in second quarter of the current fiscal year 2072/73.
The bank’s net interest income has increased to Rs.1.44 arba from Rs.1.38 arba as compared to the corresponding quarter.
The bank has increased its deposit collection to Rs.76.04 arba from Rs.70.01 arba in the previous year.Its loan and advances also increased to Rs.55.04 arba from Rs.54.70 arba.
Its non- performing loan (NPL) dropped to 0.67 percent in Q2 from 0.65 percent as compared to the corresponding quarter of last year.
Everest Earning per Share (EPS) stands at Rs.57.48, the net worth per share at Rs.286.90 and the P/E ratio is 39.86 times.
