Everest Bank announces massive 70% bonus & 33.33% right share; Paid up to reach Rs 6.18 arba; Turnover above Rs 38.95 crore in NE

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has decided to distribute 70 percent stock dividend to its shareholders.
As per the notice published in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today, the company’s 274th BOD meeting held today (Mangsir 1, 2073) has proposed 70 percent bonus share to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. Also, the bank has decided to issue 33.33 percent (3:1) right share to its shareholders after bonus share distribution.
The decision is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Earlier, EBL had distributed 30 percent bonus share to its shareholders in the fiscal year 2071/72.
EBL has earned net profit of Rs 51.34 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2073/74. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 2.74 arba. After issuance of 70 percent bonus share, the paid up capital will reach Rs 4.65 arba. Likewise, after issuance of 33.33 percent right share , its paid up capital will reach to Rs 6.19 arba.
Also, Everest Bank had the highest turnover of Rs 389, 501, 586 crore at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today.
