Everest Bank 21st AGM today; to approve 30% stock & 6.57 % cash dividend

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) is convening its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Poush 6, 2072). The AGM is going to be held at Lainchaur Banquet, Lainchaur, Kathmandu at11:00 AM. Main Agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse 30 percent bonus share and 6.578 percent cash dividend (including tax purpose for bonus share) to its shareholders.
• To increase Authorized capital from Rs 500 crore to 1000 crore
• To amend article of Association as such that the Ordinary shareholder can hold bank’s ordinary shares maximum of 5% of paid up capital and should get prior approval from BOD to hold more than 5% of paid up capital.

Other agendas of the AGM include endorsement of financial highlights of 2071/72 and appointment of auditor. The register of their shareholders has been closed from Mangsir 15, 2072 till today (Poush 6, 2072) for the purpose of its upcoming AGM. Everest Bank had earned a net profit of Rs 36.37 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.
