European Investment Bank's delegation in Kathmandu for visit; To hold consultations with politicians and industrialists

A high-level delegation led by Vice-President of European Investment Bank (EIB), Andrew McDowell has arrived here for four-day visit.
It has been expected that the high-level visit of the Bank for the first time in five years gap would address financial crunch for physical infrastructure development of Nepal in some extent.


The delegation has arrived here to hold consultations with politicians and industrialists to identify areas of the cooperation in energy, transport and forest sectors of Nepal as well as to participate in laying foundation stone for Chilime-Trishuli Transmission Line.
The delegation is also scheduled to pay courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as well as hold meeting with members of Council of Ministers, diplomats and industrialists
