European Central Bank leaves key interest rates unchanged: spokesman

European Central Bank policymakers left interest rates unchanged at record lows Thursday and confirmed they would remain there "at least through the summer of 2019", a spokeswoman said.
The Frankfurt institution's main refinancing rate was kept at zero percent, the rate on the marginal lending facility at 0.25 percent and the rate on deposits at minus 0.4 percent, meaning that banks pay to park money with the ECB.
