Esewa observes 11th successful years of operation; celebrates the rise from humble beginning to e-wallet with 1 crore strong clientele base

The pioneer digital wallet of Nepal, Esewa has celebrated its 10^th anniversary on Magh 12, 2076. Around 30 lakh individuals opened their Esewa accounts during the last decade of operation while the e-wallet provides service to more than 1 crore individuals in Nepal, thereby adding a major stone to the government’s push to create digital economy, as per the media statement.

The company currently has 80 thousand Esewa agents, Esewa zones and points all over Nepal and the mobile app has been downloaded more than 20 lakh times, as mentioned in the media statement.
