Eight months of FY 2075/76 gone; Revenue and expenditure at 52.79% and 41.13% of targeted value

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) publishes the daily budgetary report, which shows the daily progress of government expenditure and revenue collection status.

The below table shows the data as on Falgun 30, 2075.

According to the data published, the revenue collection till today is 52.79% of the targeted value. Similarly, the expenses is 41.13% of the targeted value.

Eight months of FY 2075/76 has already passed, however the revenue collection and the expenditure isn't happening in expected proportion.

The major weakness seems to be in the capital expenditure section. To be able to spend only 28.35% of the total targeted value till 8 months shows government's inefficiency and lack of proper planning.
