Despite huge balance sheet size Chhimek Laghubitta able to increase its Q3 profit by massive 79.52%; EPS stands at Rs 85.74

Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has published unaudited financial report for the third quarter today. It has stated that its net profit has increased by massive 79.52% to Rs 64.30 crore in third quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 35.81 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.
Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 19.15 arba from Rs 16.13 arba. It has collected deposits of Rs 13.90 arba and borrowed Rs 4.45 arba till the third quarter of the current fiscal year. It has paid up capital of Rs 1 arba with reserve of Rs 1.81 arba till Q3.
Its net interest income has also increased by 35.60% to Rs 1.23 arba till this quarter from Rs 90.91 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its operating profit has increased to Rs 97.29 crore in Q3, from Rs 55.87 crore in corresponding quarter.
The annualized Earnings per Share (EPS) stand at Rs 85.74. CBBL’s non-performing loan (NPL) has increased slightly to 0.26 percent in the third quarter. The Net worth per share stands at Rs 281.14 and PE is 10.53 times as per the third quarter report.
