Deprosc Laghubitta Reports Decline In Net Profit In Q1; Look At The Major Financial Indicators

Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DDBL) published the first-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with a 12.37% decline in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit declined to Rs. 17.35 crore as compared to Rs. 19.80 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 24.17% to Rs. 7.42 Arba which was Rs. 5.98 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 31.37%. The company’s loans and advances also increased by 27.86% to 16.42 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has declined by a meager 1.20% to Rs. 35.91 crores compared to Rs. 36.35 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 1.38 arba in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs 1.21 arba which is an increase of 11.80% in this quarter.
The company's non-performing loans stand at 0.67% till this quarter which was 0.65% in the corresponding quarter.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 50.04. The net worth per share is Rs. 187.32. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 25.72 times.
