Cooperatives given computers

Ten outstanding cooperatives expanding their services in the rural communities of the far-west region have been provided with computers for their better operations. The cooperatives were given the computers from Safal Project, an NGO working in the field of financial services and livelihood sector, amid a function in Dadeldhura district headquarters on Sunday. It is said that 10 best cooperatives were selected from 2,000 cooperatives catering their services in the far-west region. The cooperatives getting computers include two from Bajura, four from Achham, three from Dadeldhura and one from Doti. The cooperatives were given the computers based on their number of shareholders, economic growth rate, financial health, building status and skilled human resource to run the computer, according to district coordinator of Safal Project Tarkaraj Joshi.
