Coca-Cola supports Asia Pacific Leadership Summit event in Capital

Association internationale des étudiantsen sciences économiques et commerciales (AIESEC) in association with Coca-Cola, one of the country’s leading beverage companies has organized a five-day Asia Pacific Leadership Summit (APLS) event in order to build network with young leaders of the region. The event has already commenced from 29^th November 2016 to 4^th December 2016 (today) at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort, Dhulikhel, Kavre. 200 Nepalese local students, business leaders and development professionals from the public, private and third sectors took part in the event The event provides a platform to the youth leaders by opening conversation between cross section of youths, development professionals and business leaders with the intention of inciting social change in the areas of environment, gender equality, education, leadership, and climate change. Also, at the summit, special events like speak forum, global village, gala night, Nepal night is organized to exchange global cultural and ethnical activities among the participants. The supporting partner of the event, Coca-Cola believes that the future lies in the imagination of today’s youth to making this planet a better place to live hence, developing the leadership potential of youth through experiential learning, volunteer experiences and professional internships is important.
